If you prefer a more relaxed ascent, take the cable car to Mount Katrin in Bad Ischl or to Mount Zwölferhorn in St. Gilgen. Mount Schafberg in St. Wolfgang offers a historic rack railway and stunning views to Lake Fuschl, Lake Mondsee, Lake Attersee and Lake Wolfgangsee. Golf – The Salzkammergut Golf Club is situated in the picturesque and lavish countryside of Bad Ischl. The 18-hole golf course is only 5 minutes from the apartment. If your swing needs a bit of improvement, the adjacent golf school offers a variety of lessons. Culture – „Es war sehr schön, es hat mich sehr gefreut!“ some famous words by the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph saying that his stay in Bad Ischl was very lovely and pleased him a lot.
